Bye...

I've said goodbye more than enough times, it doesn't seem like a real word any more. I left myself empty and broken with a smile on my lips, it's a mask sewn on. Don't pull on it, it hurts! • I've allowed hellos, though behind glass walls, they seemed so real but out of touch. I've shattered glass while reaching out and felt the fiery cuts, on my wrist... up my arms... to my heart... but no blood poured out. Only emotions, or an emotion... one single emotion... It trickled down my face, it fell into my spoon... I sucked it up and returned it from where it came... It disappeares until next time... bye...
