Ca-Ching

Money is power.

Money is greed.

As you read this,

You can almost hear

The sound of the cash register.

"Ca-ching."

Money is hate.

Money is lies.

As the price hikes

Up that mountain of lives,

That sound moans and groans,

"Ca-ching."

It hangs over our heads

Waiting for that day

That that sound goes off

And we can't pay

And it waits and waits for that haunting night.

"Ca-ching, ca-ching"
