Cacophony

Sounds ring in my ears noisily; kind of like static on an old television screen. I really am trying not to be mean, but sometimes, I feel like I want to scream. I'm used to being alone with only the silence to comfort me. I like that better than listening to drama unfold before me. ... Why can't this class just be civilized for once?
