Cadence

I still can’t forget the day I met you. For hours I was with you, not feeling blue. I still can’t forget your beautiful melody And for minutes, I showed you my dexterity. I still can’t forget the moment we made eye contact, as if I were insane. Your gazing eyes poked a hole in my face, but you are not to blame. I still can’t forget the room you were in. And I knew for sure, I had to grin. I still can’t believe you are next to me And I won’t let you go, until you find the key. I still can’t take you outside. I’m being protective and I have tried. Now, don’t be scared and just skip a cadence. Prance around the musical lines, but don’t lose your balance. You are at five, just come to one. Don’t be afraid and let’s have some fun.
