Cadence in the Wake

Fri, 08/07/2015 - 13:13 -- IJG

Since this Higgs Bozo teaches us

Overlying a strumming beat

Grooves the entirety of the universe

A drum expanding in summer heat

That we're all just tiny vibrations

Tugging heartstrings in a rhythmic play

(Veloso sang to me "A tone is a good place"

And quantum mechanics are not his métier)

Is it strange, then, to say

That a hum has universal energy?

This fertile asphalt amplifies

The laughter of our feet

While the cicadas buzz call-and-response

To the rain that kisses this blurring heat

Though a storm chokes the horizon

With gales that will break

With buckets that will bow

We'll hear shelter in harmony,

Discover cadence in the wake.

Rhythm delegates a week ago were playful about their second-quarter budgetary results, and they reported the vital procurement of formal-check supplier Verplex Systems Inc. The obtaining will permit Cadence to challenge Synopsys in formal equivalency checking, however it won't essentially change the conjectures that show Cadence falling behind Synopsys, and its own 2002 numbers, for the rest of this current year.
