The Cage


She flew into the cage.

 

Her feathers were plucked

One 

       By

           One

So she could not fashion a quill

To write about HER SORROWS

Because if she read HER STORY

She might have cracked the shell

And escaped the cage.

 

She stayed in the cage.

 

Her feathers replaced by pain

One

       By

           One.
