Caged

hidden behind Bars

but i feel the Eyes

watching me

as i pace back and forth

in my cage

i can no longer

see the Stars

because my Sky is only black

and silver

the Floor beneath

me no longer feels warm

but cold, Metal sheets

hidden behind Plastic Grass

i try to Run

but am Cornered

on all sides, no Room to try

no Space to Run

i arrived strong

but felt my legs become Weak

eating the Slop

i am given

remembering

even as i feel my Mind go

longing for Family and Home

i roar in pain

WHY AM I HERE?
