I live in a shell
Nobody can hurt me
I crawl up inside
this hollow place
I call home

There's no light
in my cramped,
tiny shell

I've never known life
outside this shell
Where you have no covering,
you're just exposed

I don't know
what that's like
or how it feels

I just know
that I can't
break free from
my tiny home

If I get loose
I could die
because I'm simply
a turtle.
