Caged In Culture

Bars upon bars upon bars,

telling me there are chances to reach those stars.

Boxed up by societal, cultural limits,

my time transformed into overwhelming timidness.

One, two, three, any more facades...

are you done for the day.

I am satisfied understanding this is the game you want to play.

Psychological testing, my emotions are unresting.

Building pressure upon these shoulders,

can you understand me,

shall I take time to hold...that thought.

You know it is hard, but yet you are no bard.

You cannot tell me the future of my past, you do not deal my cards.

It is only me who can rejuvenate, re-innovate, recreate this reality,

which others have made a fallacy.
