What if life was simplier?

What if you didn't need a college degree to define her

Destiny is a different stream for everybody;

but, it seems like were trying to make everyone arrive in the same boat.

What if life was simplier?

What if he didn't feel the need to join a gang,

just to be defined as the "next big thing"

What if life was simplier?

What if she didn't need to be an hourglass figure to be called beautiful

or a cabinet full of protein bars to pretend she's full?

What if life was simplier?

What if he didn't need to step up and be the "man of the house"

and his father didn't go out looking for a new spouse?

What if life was simplier?

What if she didn't need a face full of make-up

just to feel "get up"?

What if life was simplier?

What if we chose to stop working ourselves to death

and learn to live passionately, happy lives?

What if life was simplier?

What if we put more emphasis on stronger, healthier families

intead of jobs and degrees?

What if life was simplier?

What if we just did what we wanted to do

whenever we wanted to do it..?

What if life was simplier?

I would eat the cake.

I would eat the cake, gladly.

I wouldn't count the calories.

I would live in the cake gallery!
