Cake
For what reason can't I have my cake and eat it too
Only may I bask in its sweet aromatics you say
Solely observe the curvaceous construct, I may
For what reason can't I have my cake and eat it too
The heat evokes trickling sweat of enticement
My whispers flirt with the flames for enjoyment
For what reason can't I have my cake and eat it too
I wish to caress the icing two fingers by one
Taste be my aspirations but I achieve none
For what reason can't I have my cake and eat it too
Despite absent slices but everlasting flavor
Merely crums foretell, your essence I savor
For what reason can't I have my cake and eat it too
Disposition to console your internal vulnerability
Predilection to salivate your internal sensitivity
For what reason can't I have my cake and eat it too
God-sent beauty, I've bestowed such definition
Bewildered by my love, deemed diabetic infliction
The reason I, nor anyone can have my cake & eat it too
Because your existence is thus, so that I may adore you
