The Call
You sit there and wonder what your life would be like if there were no problems you have to live with, no medications you have to take daily, and everything flew by with ease. You wonder what you would see through someone elses eyes...
You see a Difference!
You've changed a lot in 20 years. You have a job, a family, a home, and an eduation. After work you go home, lie in bed, and wonder how you were able to pull through. You wonder what happened to the kids in your class back in high school. You wonder if you would still be best of friends.
You have Hope!
You're in your mid to late 40's and you get word that your mom is fading! You rush to the hospital hoping that its not too late to tell her how much you love her and tell her the truth about everything. You dont want her to pass, you beg the lord not to take her yet. You only get the chance to tell her "I love you."
You Wish!
You wish that there were more time and more chances to tell her you love her. You wish and beg for her life back..... but you know it wont work. You wish that you had told your boyfriend and best friends how much you cared, and how badly you wanted everything to go in a different direction.
You have an Urge!
Its a year after her death and you get an urge to look up your old friends and to make a difference. You find your best friend and write down the number. Later, you pick up the paper, go to the phone and dial the number. The phone rings three times and then a male voice picks up and says "Hello?" You state your name and ask how he's been. You talk for hours!
You flashback just this once.....
to remember your life....
and how you made a difference!
Just by one phone call!
