The Call
You’re the light of my life man!
This wasn’t in the plan.
As the tears ran down my face,
I knew he couldn't leave this place.
I remember the call like yesterday.
The first thing I did was pray,
‘God he is my life, my everything’.
Hope, is what he would bring!
The doctors said there was no cure
but you are a fighter for sure!
Required three doctors to assist
I can’t image how much you would be missed!
As you laid there so weak
I bent over and kissed your cheek.
You’ve always been my support, my crutch
I hope you know this much!
You’re such an inspiration to me!
The type of person everyone wants to be.
You’re one of the biggest champs.
I love you more than life Gramps!
