The Call
Your call woke me up that night,
whispering those seductive words in
my ear.
When you hang up the phone, so do I.
I suddenly wish to see you then,
to kiss you with a passion of fire.
You mended my heart after you found it,
shattered by sadness, scattered by the winds.
time is an essence of which we think
controls the tide.
You are the one that I love, my dear.
To kiss you is to hear the beat
of our hearts when we are alone together.
You are the one I want in my life.
When I'm ready, you may have my hand.
Stop hoping and wishing for that answer beloved...
You should already know the answer..
is yes.
