A Call to the Heaven
Hey, you up there ?
My big strong brother,
Come down The Rainier,
Says our old mother .
You don't call,
Ain't you free at all?
It's not fair,
Don't you care?
Hey, you up there ?
My champion brother,
Be home by summer,
Says our old mother.
The kids moan within
As soon as the day begin
Your wife is weary,
And always teary.
Hey, you up there?
My healthy brother,
Please do bother,
Says our old mother.
Our eyes are dark,
The neighbours remark,
You just slipped away,
While I Cried 'No way'
Hey, you up there ?
My genius brother,
Enough is enough
Says our old mother.
While you laid still,
against your will,
How I wished ,I pulled you up,
The way I did on our rafting trip.
Hey, you up there?
My only brother,
Can't you hear?
Says our old mother.
You loved our father,
But we love you more,
You followed him to heaven,
Just the day after eleven .
Hey u up there?
My handsome brother,
Our world is blank; better stop this prank,
Don't go further,
Says our old mother.
We miss your smile,
For which we would go thousands of mile,
We are on the way,
This time you can't get away.
Hey, you up there?
My loving brother,
Can't wait to get together,
Says our old mother.
