Call Me

Call me crazy

crazy Kev

I am a different

kind of weird

loyal to no fault

mountains are my home

and to teach is to learn

I’ve watched fear, pain, and thought

cross peoples faces

I’ve been called a

Russian and German

a serrated knife

a kind hearted person

who puts his heart

behind everything

don’t question my resolve

if I say I’ll be there I will be

call me a radical

a boundary pusher

a voice against the norm

a port in the storm

a leader

a listener

a person

human

both perfect and imperfect

both good and evil

tough and gentle

above all else

call me human

and everything that applies

don't hold me to a double standard

or I will hold you to the same

we empower those who anger us

and anger those who we

don't give power to

I don't ask for power

but I do ask for the benefit of the doubt

I will always help

do my best to not cause people pain

I will work when others stop

I will not quit

call me old fashioned

there is no such thing as a lost cause

a loser

a broken person

a broken heart

an outcast

the thing that does exist

is the arrogance to believe that

we are better than them

them backwards is meth

and that thought process is worse

than that

treat me like a human

and you will have a friend

call me Kevin
