Call on me Next

Thoughts ready, hand raised

But do I say what I want to say

You just told my class it's not okay

To express yourself if you are gay

Class continues, my hand is up

But you just told my class you've had enough

Told us another load of Holy stuff

Referenced the Bible to shut us up

Religion class, my hand is waving

But you just questioned if we're worth saving

Said we give in too much to our cravings

and referenced sin in how we are behaving

At home now, my hands are folded

asked God why we've all been scolded

Can't a boy love a boy if its how he's molded?

Why in school can't my morals be upholded

For I believe God views all love as golden.
