Call Me A Poet

So of them call me a poet It hit me before you know it I've been sailing on this boat, It's about time for me to row it I've definitely changed Compare me to Lindsay Lohan But being under these lights Has left me in the dark a-glowin’ But as the grass gets to growin’ And the neighbors get to movin’ I went from renting and loaning And now it’s time for me to own it What does all this mean? It’s time for me to own up I’ve been acting very kiddish Now it’s time to be grown up I’ve been working after all In order to pay my loan up And I’m done drinking alcohol That will end up nearly thrown up It’s time for me to show it Like to keep my flame lit So you know I’ll never blow it Some of them call me a poet
