Call of the Wild
The birds chirping sounds across the trees
And buzzing is made by working bees
A lions roar leaves behind a ghostly shadow
Yet the prancing deer still roam across the peaceful meadow
It is told a tree is whispering to the winds
As a secret is being told as if they were best friends
A rolling wave crashes across a coast
And a seagull flies against the breeze
Enjoying the ocean's freedom the most
Under the ocean's surface a shark hunts for some tasty lunch
As a school of fish try their best to stay in a bunch
Back in the rainforests you can hear a frog's croak
While the skies fog continues to smoke
A macaw's colors continue to bloom
And marching ants are looking for something to consume
Then in New York City you hear phones ring and cars honk
As landfills fill with man-made junk
The top of the food chain continues to cause turmoil
Causing the Earth to spoil
Because humans never seem to think
As calls of the wild are being extinct
