To Call You
Really, I did remember to call you--
I wrote it on on my hand, I've
Wanted to all day--but in my
Whirlwind of a life, the things I did
To fill my days while I was
Waiting to meet you,
Before I knew your name and the smile
In your voice when
You pick up the phone,
Those things
Keep stealing me away.
But honestly, I did remember
To call you.
