Called, Saved, Chosen.

"Called, Saved., Chosen" Called; From every tongue, Tribe, distant lands. The invitation was made, We heard the call Thus we came Converging from near and far. . So many we were, Strangers, families, friends We heard the voice Of the Heir Hence the reason we're here Dirty, filthy and scared Sin kept us unkempt But we came just as we were. .. Saved; After we came, We heard by faith Steadfastly beholding His face, And believing His name, We were born again . The old passed away So new we became. Sackless, pure and free As new born babes. We were transformed, We were changed, We were saved! .. Chosen; Alas, the time came Being saved wasn't just enough God's love needed to be Expressed in a different form. We needed to be reformed We needed to be spiced up, we needed a second touch. . Thence we became, Empires of grace Before the Lord , We held a special place Chaste, reserved, in flames! Our names were changed On our face, a mark was placed. We were drenched in the rain, Of His matchless Grace! So, we were called, We were saved., We are Chosen! Emmanuel Momoh © April 2019.
