The Calling

Rapids of time is forth coming And soon a departure will arrive. How first I’ve came with only a package full of compromises I swore to abide by. Full of strength and determination Stopped by nothing until bonds were concealed. This is only between you and I. And no one could repeal me of such a pledge, An honor, a code, a written contract that bind my soul. This was bestowed to me from the placenta, And no grudge can cut through the gift that the Universe has given me a mother of you And you a child of me. Hardships have crashed and landed on top of us. And we’ve let go each other’s hands. This time there’s no letting go. Though the rapids are coming and time is at its crunched. Just know this daughter of yours will always be alright.
