Calloused
The greatest sacrifice
Leads to a cold heart.
Forsaken paradise
unnecessary stalwart.
Opinions changed
Consent to disdain.
Perceptions Rearranged
to approval again
It is possible
If you believe
Together invincible
Grant this reprieve
Soften your callous
Feel the warmth
Remove the malice
Bring forgiveness forth
Not simple
I acknowledge
But set an example
Make this pledge:
We are irreplaceable
First among equals
Our feelings unassailable
Start the sequel!
Effort required
I understand
Love inspired
devotion’s Demand
In the end
We love each other
You are my best friend
Deserving Forever together
