Calm

I want to feel calm; I would love to sit back, And hold my life in my own hands. I want to be independent So I, and everyone else, Can feel proud of what I've done. Some days I feel like I've let you down; Like I'm expected to be someone. And I have failed you. I cannot be calm When I'm expected to be perfect. I think it's time to quit, Quit putting on a show. I will not let you down. I will let you go... Then I will be calm.
