Calm

A drop of dew

Hugging a rose petal

The glistening sun

Lighting the clear blue sky

On a tree branch

A lark perches

Humming to himself

A harmonious melody

Of freedom and purity

A brook lay

Across a meadow

Babbling to itself

And all who stop to listen

A doe stops

In the middle

Of a brightly colored field

Lifting her head

To take in the gentle breeze

Of another spring day
