Calming Winds

There was a knock upon the glass pane

When, it does not nor did it matter

Eyes took in the view as the soul felt relief

Wrapped tight in a bundle

It is this way, life, you see'

Glass panes where a body feels secure

Outside there is the dance of bending trees

Blinding storms

A whirlwind of actions

So much to see while yet still safe, as if nothing could touch or even hurt

Yet again, there always remains the knock on the window, as if

"Come. Come play with me."

Amazing how easy it is

To be

To be and exist in two places; inside/outside

Secure and safe

Wild and free

As such it is and always will be

The Wind as a friend, a mentor, a thief, a savior...
