Before the Calvary

Two Kings to a Devil

Bearing the Throne of Man.

To a King so Wrong,

To another, so well.

For a Word to Taunt,

Redeemed to Conversation.

And with all Fault,

Two Kings Searched the Nation.

Too Correct for an Answer,

And More Justifiable to a Lie.

Two Kings to a Devil

And a Thorn for the Eye.
