Camaraderie

Chattering fellows with common interests

Throwing words back and forth

One brings humor and wit

The other erupts into a jovial laugh

Each other’s human beings

Form a bond that is not exclusive

A cure for loneliness

That can be found between any different forms of life

Their presence is not what I long for

Although I enjoy them every hour

For they will not remain with me forever

As new opportunity rises in my way

Concepts of finding those like them

Humans that care, long for my presence

I weep at the thought of leaving the current

But leap with the idea of finding more

Friends may go but,

Camaraderie lends a hand in finding new ones
