Camouflage
Blissfully quiet all around, brilliant colors touch the ground.
Tiny beings scurry about, stocking heartily while they scout.
Winds so gentle, rays that warm, chasing daylight, leaves they swarm.
One foot forward, hands off the wheel, smells of freedom, feels surreal
Sitting in wonder, eyes are bright, actions attract, my curious sight.
Fetching the flavor of my eye, knowing this day will soon pass me by.
At the top of my world, looks like a mirror, hoping my prey soon will be here.
