Can The Deep Be Beautiful Too?
If yellow is gladness,
must blue be sadness?
If the sky is the limit,
can the waves still mimic?
If I shoot for the stars,
or Venus, or Mars,
or many constellations through;
can the deep be beautiful too?
Do I have to live up to
the world's version of 'breakthrough'?
What if I fall through,
or fail to
be 'cool-crew'?
Can I have opinions, feelings or thoughts
that make my south, look like your north?
Can I be different, can I be true?
Can I be me, instead of be you?
Can my bright yellow, look like your blue?
Can the deep, be beautiful too?
