Can I Die?

Location

In the Arms of a Foreign Lover
738 Wall St.
United States

Lips so bittersweet kill me in my sleep

A taste so heavenly leaves burn marks on my cheeks

Scarred by our romance the heavens bleed

Onto silk white sheets

Caress me caringly

With hands so frail and weak

A Love with life that breathes

A touch so unique yet familiar to me

Can I die knowing you're mine

Give me just that I don't mind

Can I die knowing you're fine

To know your safe as I close my eyes

I will see you again in good time

I'll hold you again so don't cry

It feels like heaven in disguise

You're my heaven in real life

Yet I see heaven burning in the sky

You're less like a dream

But in reality, you aren't with ...

Find me locked up

In a dream state

I wish that I could stay

But time is passing away

I'll drift apart as you sail away

Waves crashing.

Two different seas now

Not anymore together.

We were young and unaware

of life's demands.

Our love was second hand

But fell into different arms.

Others take the place

But it's just the same fulfillment.

I wish that I could stay

But now I got to run away.

It feels like heaven in disguise

You're my heaven in real life

Yet, I see heaven burning in the sky

You're just like a dream

But in reality, you are not with me.
