Can I fly

Said the baby black bird 

No you cannot fly said  the mother and father

Why we are forever chained and grounded

So we cannot fly

Can I fly

Said the black bird

No you cannot fly said her brotherns

Can I fly 

Said the black bird

No you cannot fly says the other black birds

For we are flightless birds

We are forever on the ground

I can fly 

Said the black bird

For I see no chains on my feet

For I am not grounded to the ground

For I can fly as you can see

No I'm not flying

For I am soaring 

Because I am forever and always free
