Can I Tell You

Can I tell you something,

Something I cannot tell them.

Well, maybe I could,

But they were never true friends.

Can I tell you I need something,

No one can supply.

Only one person can,

It is obviously not them.

Can I tell you I wish for things,

That will never come true.

They could come without anger,

If only they were real.

Can I tell you I need help,

To understand something no one else can.

If I close my eyes maybe it will help,

Or maybe I just need them.
