Can We Write A Story

Can we write a story

That started at birth

Can we carry a notebook

While crossing the earth

Can we tell tales that stir us

With wonder and laughter

And erase the tears

Caused by disaster

Can we dream so deeply

That ideas awaken

Can we sense so soundly

Like the sizzling bacon

Can we seek such ambition

Oh what dreams may come

And cause us to wonder

Where we all started from
