Can you believe or understand?

Can you believe or understand?

A young man with a bag of skittles and a can of soda in his hand

could be shot dead?

with no justice..

only a few sobby tears and hooded shirts with his face on them

so i guess it was true

people only care if you're pretty, dying, or dead

a man gets free because "stand your ground law" was what he said.

or.. what he clamed

the jury said he wasn't the one to blame

well that's a shame

what did treyvon do

now his body is left to deteriorate,

althought what's doing the opposite is his name

but i assure you , it isn't the same.

as it would be if his mother and father got to see him in the flesh again.

months later Zimmerman is arrested for pointing a gun to a white woman

she didn' die, but she did cry

and he's off stuck in jail without bail.

in no way am i saying he was right , but hell.

That's not the crime he should have been incarcerated for.

Treyvon will never resurrect and walk again.

But they let his shooter walk out the door.
