Can You Hear Me?

Slowly the words came together.

Creating a voice unrecognized,

as it had never been heard before.

Expressing incredulous ideas,

conversing vigorously with voices in the distance.

This voice melted with understanding and compassion,

learning about what each voice desired.

Soft and sweet in the morning,

loud and bold when the time mandated,

yet always feeling quite vulnerable.

Beauty sprung out with every single word,

capturing the admiration of many.

Dancing to every beat without missing one,

the voice listened to the world,

and to the voices still unheard.
