Can You Hear Us

Can you hear us 

the ones who are fed up

with these politics 

that arn't even enough

Can you hear us

the people who scream for peace

the fighting is overated

oh those stupid democratic and republican debates

Can you hear us

the people who are dieing

the ones that cry at night 

and the ones that can't even seem to get a bite

Can you hear us

the teenagers that are scared for the future

because nothing is getting resolved

What can be done?

Can you hear us

we say social security is dieing and will be dead

because government officals took it all leaving us in more debt

but it doesn't concern them, not even a little not even at all

Can you hear us

the ones that pray to God for peace

The ones that thought America was united 

but theres so much bickering

Can you hear us

we American's want a leader that will stand tall

who will stop the bickering and fighiting

solving most if not all 

Can you hear us

we voters who still think

these runners can't even finish the race

We have no choice but to vote someone in the place

Can you hear us

No you can't 

If we keep going down this path

nothing will ever change
