Can You See Me?

Out and among the world, I go about,

seeing and meeting so many.

But in return, do they see me?

I wonder and wonder again.

Of course, I'm myself, but who is "myself?"

I'm a fun, exciting person to see.

But isn't that everyone? Or is it not?

I have to describe only me.

I'm thoughtful, caring, have a small temper too,

but many people are this as well.

I enjoy theatre, sports,  hanging with friends,

but that could be anyone still.

I am strong, protective, but sometimes I fall,

Maybe a tad too dynamic.

Still, in the end, many others

can also fall under these descriptions too.

So I guess, ultimately, it will not suffice,

to just give a description of "me."

For "I" am so much more than words can say,

I guess you'll just have to meet me.
