Can You Tell?

Can you tell how alone I feel?

Can you tell I'm fighting emotions with which I cannot deal?

Can you see the pain in my eyes?

Can you see me waiting for life to pass me by?

Can you see the hurt, the trauma?

Everybody else is living life, but I don't wanna.

To me, life is just a game that I cannot win,

Every time I look in the mirror I cringe.

Why did God send me to war without ammunition?

Where do all these people find their ambition?

I hope you can tell that I've given up.

I hope you can tell that I've had enough.

I want you to understand when I finally leave,

That I had to go, or continue to bleed.
