Cancerous.
Before I contracted cancer
I thought I was fine.
I knew I wasn't healthy,
But I did not know
It was going to be this
Heavy.
I have been living with it for
A couple months.
I have come to realize there
Are two outcomes:
It kills me soon or, hopefully,
Kills me on some far off date.
I hope that, instead of tragedy striking
Suddenly and abruptly ending it all,
I can live with it, spend time with it,
cherish every moment I spend with it inside me.
And the day will come when
It leaves me. And I will be okay
Because I lived with,
Made memories with it,
And most of all,
I Loved It.
Love is Cancer.
