A Candle In The Dark

Falling downwards,

I was drifing further into the dark,

A hand digging through the darkness,

I was rescued and brought to life.

Pulling me from the ground into the light,

A flame ignited within the chambers of my heart,

Filling with the warmth and devotion of life itself.

Appreciation seeping from the seams,

A memory never fading,

Your light will continue to burn,

Forever in my heart.
