Candle Light

A candle light

How the fire roars so bright

But as it goes through the night

It begins to dim

As the wind blows in every direction

The future is grim

But withstands every afliction

Until the morning light.

I have live 8 years overseas. I am heading off to college this fall. I have been writing poem ever since I was 11. I am a very hard-worker. I love poetry! I work pretty hard on my poems because my mind ponders on the subject before I write it down and I edit again. When reading my poems don't judge on how it is typed because this program doesn't let type the way I would like but oh well. I write poetry so people will understand I not just one feeling or perception I have many layers and I see things both as a child and adult. PLEASE LEAVE COMMENT I WANT TO HEAR CRITIZISM FROM OTHERS!
