The candy house

My mother said to stay away

but the colors were so appeasing

I wondered the woods to the witches house

and saw the entire marvel

the sugar dripping

the spoons a-dipping

and the teenagers past out on the floor

they over indulged

and lay comatose on the floor

the hallucinations began from the sweet sour taste of the candy

and the witch who always promised more

why would she lie?

and keep me away from the good taste of heaven?

for my own sake shed say

and never again did I hear it

be careful because the house wasn't candy

and the witch wasn't true

it was a mistake

a fault

a bad trip and story to describe it all
