Can't

Sent to drown,

He pulled himself out and away.

Tell him what is going on,

Fucked over his brain.

We let it go down.

She could have stopped it.

He kissed her though the wall,

Forbidden, he was punished.

Doesn’t matter anymore.

She blamed insanity,

He was fine.

Nothing’s more complicated

Than his simple problem,

Get back in line, and

Let us control you.

Fighting tooth and nail,

Strapped down,

She could have done more.

But she didn’t love him.

We had no more control.

Losing chances instead of making them.

He was sent to drown.
