Can't come back

I must keep reminding myself of this
Before I lose grip of reality
My words seep into the pores of your skin
It's still getting worse after everything I've tried.
Alone I sit making lines, motioning my finger tips
As the words spill out like fire from her lips
I ignite the feelings I sow until only ashes remain
I create words that go unspoken in your presence
But still scratch the surface as you read them
Longing for you to see the world through my eyes
Yet Everyday I hope and pray that this will end
But when I can, I do it all I again
Why must this error go repeated
In the hour of our twilight, I am unblinded
I can finally feel the sweet ecstasy of love
My voice is given back by god him self
So that I can prove to you silence is not my ally
With you at my side, the painting is signed
The picture is framed, in your heart
To remind them what we were, if we ever were at all
