Can't Hold In the Darkest Moments

My heart has held in so much pain.

But yet I hold it in. Not aware that I was hurting myself in the span of it all.

My mother told me to pray. I did

My father told me to talk. I talked

My sister told me to love. And I loved

My brother told me to smile. And I smiled.

But yet this pain and heartache just never left.

These darkest moments have put a toll on my life.

But yet I always overcome.

Because even though my heartache and pain hurts be inside.

Seeing the people around me that care shows me I am somebody important.
