Can't Ignore It

This year has come and gone, just look at my notepad:

I saw the good and the bad,

I laughed with someone really rad,

But what I saw would change the heart of the glad.

I can't ignore it.

Costa Rica is the journey in which I would embark,

There I met the sweetest, kindest people- living in the dark.

I can't ignore it.

Stricken by the darkness of poverty.

Little amounts of food, and clothing they own, and it's not of quality.

I can't ignore it.

I came back distrot that the place with such darkness, had people with such light.

They changed my world, alright.

I can't ignore it.

What I saw changed the heart of the glad,

I laughed with someone really rad,

I saw the good and the bad.

This year has come and gone: now you've seen my notepad.
