Can’t You See?
 

All alone, not a helping hand in sight. Oh, can’t there be a bright shining light? Laying in darkness, full of grief, but who else is there to bear my sorrow of defeat. Can’t you see, I feel incomplete?

A bed wet with tears that no one could hear; I can’t stand to feel this feeling of fear. This feeling of regret is so hard to bear; can’t you just see that I really care?

Stupid or not, I’m always there. But when it comes to you, you never seem to care. All this jealousy that fills my heart is waiting for you to break it apart. Can’t you see, I can’t depart?

You leave me with this inner scar of defeat; It’s really hard to beat. Not sure what to say, but I know I want you to stay. Keep me near, I beg in fear. Can’t you see, I’m so sincere?

Not knowing if the next words you say are goodbye, I take you for granted as time passes by. When it’s all over, I know I’ll have to cry. And crybaby is what I’ll hear as your reply. Can’t you see, I’m always nearby?

Putting on a smile but just for a while; I’ll be back here after awhile. Wanting what we had, but I guess it was me only wanting a memory. Why don't you understand what I mean? I was here for you every minute of everyday; you take my heart and all you do is play. Can’t you see, you’ve gone astray?

You were happy then, Why cant you be happy now? All you do is frown. You make me happy, then you make me sad. What have I done that was do bad? Don’t leave me now, I need you. Forevermore, I will be true. Can’t you see, I’m stuck to you like glue?
