Canvas


The way the paint smells The vibrant colors of the thick liquid The way the brush dances across the canvas Each stroke more prominent Building an image Like building blocks Only to be improved After each stroke Making the canvas more exciting More thrilling to look at But this canvas is one of many The same as thousands Bought just to be thrown away Not even understood Appreciated For that canvas had so much work put in it Potential But people just see a painted board Plain An accessory I ask myself this Is anything really valued Or is it just taken for granted
