A Canvas of Light

Many nights I did dream a dream of darkness for hours on end but never a light.
Darkness is very familiar to me for it did consume me and my life,
Lost for many years I have strolled through the darkness searching for something but unable to see.
But now I can see.
The darkness does not shroud my vision now, for though darkness is everywhere it is not me.
Indeed I am now the dark but darkness and the dark are two different entities.
It did take many nights of hoping and longing for the end to bring open my eyes,
For me to see the souls that would die if I were to leave this planet.
I am no murderer, I am merely a predator of predators, and the thrill of my new hunt has just begun.

Indeed I am an artist, for it is my nature, but I aspire to be more.
Many do deem me insane for thinking the way I do, for people fear what they do not understand.
But I have no fear of understanding, I strive to be enlightened and understand all,
So I may be something more than just an artist,
For I know that those poor souls can not and will lay there beyond the trees, watching.
Watching in hopes that they too would understand but alas alone they shall fail.
And so show my art I shall.

The darkness does indeed blind but the dark does not.
The dark can lit and so a light shall guide those lost hearts to a land of love and care.
A light so brilliant and bright, burning with a passion.
A light so wondrous that no darkness could dampen its glow.
Shine would this light for all eternity until the last soul has reached its destination.
Indeed I have chosen to fight back and wage the ultimate war with the darkness.
I strive to be a canvas of light in the dark labyrinth that has trapped us all.
Struck no more, the test is over and indeed fight we shall.
Mine light did go out on one day but many a night later I have found something more.

To lead, to guide, to be a light.

My garden is not dead, no the season has merely changed twice.
Now is the time to provide the light for a new bunch of flowers, and wilt they shall not.
Shine will the light, flow does the water and thrive does the garden.

Searching after many a night I did find a way to get out of the darkness.
A light.
Enlightened to the world all around I strive to be that light instead of searching for it.
The darkness is not my master,
Many souls do follow me I do know this as fact,
Though they hide I know them there watching gazing into what I could be.
I must not let them down.
I must be their light in the darkness,
I will fight back as the light that those lost in the darkness need.
I shall burn with a brilliancy and a passion as strong as the love in my heart.
I will be a canvas of light.
